While earth rolls onward into light,       de l' nova tag', ripozas ni

3. As o’er each continent and island       3. Nun kiam en malhel' fordronas
The dawn leads on another day,       la Sun' en tiu ĉi vesper',
The voice of prayer is never silent,       multvoĉe Via laŭdo sonas

4. The sun that bids us rest is waking       4. Ĉar kiel estas ĉirkaŭanta
Our brethren ’neath the western sky,       la Teron lumo de l' maten',
And hour by hour fresh lips are making       senĉese estas plusonanta
Thy wondrous doings heard on high.       preĝado de la homoj jen.
 
5. So be it, Lord; Thy throne shall never,       5. Ja estas, Dio ĉiopova,
Like earth’s proud empires, pass away:       senlima Via regno, nin
Thy kingdom stands, and grows forever,       konduku al la tago nova
Till all Thy creatures own Thy sway.       en Via regno je la fin'!
